Several applications were affected by the security added features, in order to comply with Visanet.

From the METROPOLIS MAIN MENU, under "Utilities", choose "General".


Then, choose "PASSword File Maintenance".

Now, highlight the Description (i.e. Manager, clerk, etc) that you wish to access.



Lastly, hit "ALT D" on your keyboard.

This is where you are able to assign levels of "authority" over the applications. Notice the "Msc" field. An "N" in this category field means that ONLY the LAST 4 DIGITS of a credit card can be viewed by the user when viewing the following:

• CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION REPORT (app: CV; program: ATQ)
• AUTHORIZATION QUEUE (app: CV; program: ATQ)
• UNPOSTED ORDER REPORT (app: CV; program: UNP)
• CUSTOMER CREDIT CARD REPORT (app: AR; program: CRE)
• DEACTIVATED EXPIRED CREDIT CARDS REPORT (app: AR; program: PAC)
• And, viewers CANNOT see the CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATIONS in the "ALT R" screen (from customer maintenance). (app: AR; program: CUS)
