What this feature does:

Offers another shipping method.

California Overnight is a shipping company in which you have the option of using. CAOV ships only in the following states:
California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. To learn more about California Overnight, visit

You must establish an account with CAOV before this option can take effect.

From the INVENTORY main menu, choose "System Management", "Product/Shipping Set Up", "Ship Via Maintenance".
You will find that CAOV has several shipping options. You have a manifest option on each - tab until you find C CA Overnight. Then, you have a choice in "type". Sunrise, Sunrise Gold, CalTrack, or Heavyweight. See the link above for more info on these options.

CAOV's manifest is found in "Order Entry;Shipping;CA Overnight manifest".

CAOV provides an ASCII file for zip/zones.
*When you ALT X from here, after entering in the location #, you'll find the "Ship Via Table Master".

"Sortcode" is the code for the facility that the order is being shipped TO. "Sat?" is asking whether or not Saturday deliver is allowed. This will either be a "0" (zero=service NOT provided) or a "1" (one=service IS provided).

To update the rates, go to "UP" directory, choose "System Management", "Set Up System", then "CA Overnight Control Rec."
