What this feature will do:

Help you with your count/re-counts!!!

The mills will create a file that will contain the promotional identification, the effective date and end date, the sku's (GTIN's), and the manufacturer's suggested price reduction. This file will be available via FTP. In this file, you have the option to enter your price reduction (per each). As soon as you update this file and set the active flag to "Y", the "sale" goes into effect.
The Order Entry system automatically sets the reduces price for the dates assigned.
When the sale is over, you will generate an 890 Promotional Price Announcement Unit Sales Report and FTP it to the mill.

***NOTE***
You will no longer have to change prices every time a count/re-count begins as long as you receive the 889 file.

We are anxiously waiting for the mills to get on board with this (hopefully by the end of the year!)
